Dr Gupta is pleased to commence consulting at The Bays in Mornington on Thursday May 16th, 2024 on a fortnightly basis to serve patients in Frankston and within the Peninsula. This will be located in the sessional consulting suites on the ground floor of The Bays. He will also be performing procedures (gastroscopy and colonoscopy) at The Bays.
Dr Gupta also performs procedures at Chelsea Heights Day Surgery, Holmesglen Private Hospital in Moorabbin, Cabrini Hospital and at Glen Iris Private.
We manage all aspects of gastroenterology, hepatology (liver
problems) and pancreatico-biliary disease. Dr Gupta has a particular
interest in bowel cancer screening via colonoscopy. He is an expert in
the diagnosis and management of inflammatory bowel disease, irritable
bowel syndrome, coeliac disease and dyspepsia. He takes a holistic
approach and personalises his recommendations to each patient.
Arun is a passionate gastroenterologist who is adept at sorting out
clinical problems, from the most simple to the most complex. As such, he
has a deep understanding of diagnosis and management of gut-related
conditions.
Arun was born and raised in Melbourne, completing his undergraduate
medical training at Melbourne University in 1998. He then worked at The
Royal Melbourne Hospital in Parkville. Arun completed his specialty
training at Westmead and Royal North Shore Hospitals in NSW, and at the
John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, UK.
